I tried to peak one in the other day, and my Sathawk locked up. Now is this meter compatiable with the Dish 1000.2 LNB, or not? If not, would a software upgrade make it compatiable? Thanks.
No, the SatHawk 3000 is not compatible with 1000.2. That dish uses a DishProPlus lnbf. If you upgrade (hardware & software) your meter to work with DPP LNBF, then is should be fine. Go to satmeter infosite - home and click on the upgrade link.

I went to the satmeter infosite you provided and I cannot find the upgrade link! Is there a direct link to the webpage? And I also believe what you said is wrong, because if you goto the website link below, it says that the 5.1.6 model of the Sathawk 3000 supports "DishProPlus lnbf!" So what is the truth behind this, False Advertisment?
Yes I have used it with a DishProPlus Twin on Dish 500 and it works okay. And since it advertises that the Sathawk 3000 5.1.6 model works with "DishProPlus LNBFs" then how come everytime I try to peak in a DISH 1000.2 with a DishProPlus Triple LNBF, it locks up?
