There is no problem. Dish share the same satellite data on multiple satellites. You have to check your azimuth to make sure you are pointing at the right direction.
I am here in Canada. I got SatHawk4000 meter. I was trying to install a dish on dishnet 110 with a single LNB. I set the meter to Superdish 110. I got the Positive ID for this sat but when I scan the receiver It was Bell. So I set it again. The major problem is If one sat is already set I get the Positive ID for other sat too. e.g. If Dish is set to dishnet 110 I can get Positive ID for Bell and Dish 148 too.
Any Idea what may be the problem.
Thanks.

How true is the statment "Positive ID" then?
Then the statment "Positive ID" does not seems to be true.
there should be some solution for this. May be firmware update or dataset update.
Also it does not show any signal on bell 82.
I checked the other meters they show really good satellite positive ID on both bell and dish without the use of azimuth calculations.
And honostly I am very disappointed.
There is no use of using this signal meter. Even one can use azimuth calculater and a $10 signal meter to find a dish or bell sats.
Try updating the data file to your SH4000 here:
SatHawk 4000 Datafile Software Download section
VA2.0 was updated today.
If you have a satellite that want us to add/modify in the datafile: complete the request here:

I just recently purchased the SatHawk 4000, and I've downloaded the new firmware version 2.2. I am trying to get a signal for Nimiq 91. My settings on the screen are L(or)R Nimiq 1 91W. When I plugged in a dish that already has a signal, the screen on the sathawk still says searching and does not give a picture quality (PQ). What's the problem? Also, I'm not sure whether I should be on "L" or "R" for the settings... even though it doesn't seem to make a difference. Can someone please help me with this. Thanks
It could be that the transponder parameters need to be updated in the datafile you are using.
Go to SatHawk 4000 Datafile Software Download section
Use Satmeter 3.0.2 to open the latest datafile (i.e. V2.2)
Check your satellite on the list. Just change the Transnpoder data (freq, Sr, Polarity, and FEC) to a known active transponder on Nimiq 91W.
Notice:
To change to a Horizontal (or LH) polarity use 18V
To change to a Vertical (or RH) polarity use 13V
About polarity:
RH = Vertical = 13V (to make it easy to remember think of RV : recreational Vehicle)
LH = Horizontal = 18V
Since I bought this unit I have yet to get a full meter reading on the first SS line, only about two bars...the second SS line I will get six bars at the most. The PQ I can set it to get a full reading when I have a good signal. This I can tell buy getting six bars on the second SS line. Total bars to fill anu line is 9 I think ...does anyone else have this problem? and is there a fix for this?
Try the calibration process. Click on MODE and go to calibration. You will need the meter to be connected to an aligned satellite dish.
