My Fortec MercuryII has no Beeps or Sound

Hey my Fortec MercuryII doesn't have any beeps when finding a satellite like the Directv and Dish Network recievers have. At least not mine. Or the games don't have sound that is on this reciever. The audio works with the satellite channels. Is this thing malfunctioning or am I missing something?

Press MENU button and select "System Setup", go to the last item in that menu labeled "Others", and the last item in that sub-menu is "Signal Beep Sound", select ON and now you should be able to can hear the signal beep sound.

For games: Blue button: Sound on/off
