What are you getting from the Echo sats? What receiver? What are your settings for the lnbf in the receiver? Which port are you working with on the lnbf?
I just converted from a generic cir polar LNB to a new Invarcom QPH-031 and my signal quality has dropped somewhat. Also not picking up the Anik sats like I intended. Getting SBS 6 at 74W at quality 90%
I have a 80cm Fortec dish with a Stab HH90 motor and a Pansat 3500sd FTA rx. My location is central Florida (29N 81W).
Prior to the new QPH my quality on Echo7 was 85% now at 40%, Echo 8 was at 85% still at 85%, Nimiw 1.3 was 95% now at 70%. The signal levels have not changed.
I installed the QPH with leads to the DiSEqC, to the motor, to the FTA.
In my opinion the QPH works ok but for some reason I am not getting Echo 7 like I was previously. Did the extra weight to the dish arm make any difference? If so, how do I compensate.
Opinion requested.
