PVMS8EP 3x8 Voltage Controlled TV Satellite MultiSwitch DirecTV Approved
I recently bought two 3*8 PerfectVision PVMS-8EP a couple of sw-21's and disecq switches. Each multiswitch is connected to a Dual legacy LNB, and I am using the sw-21 for the Dish IR's and Disecq for FTA's. However, I am loosing signal strength with these switches. Will a power supply connected to the PVMS-8EP help? The switch did not come with power supply but does have the connection to use one.

Thanks Rainman, I bought the equipment from Sadoun, and I had read this description you referred to before buying.
My cables are not more than 75 ft. What I noted is that compared to the Eagle Aspen 3*8 Multiswitch I had before, the combination of the Perfectvision Multiswitches and Switch 21 are giving me more signal loss.
As I am in a fringe area, and I am loosing certain transponders with this combination. I do not have a UHF antenna connected.
In my case do you think that buying the power supply will help?
