Dish 1000.2
I'm a newbie to this forum.
I've a DISH 1000 Plus with DPP44 switch operating two ViP622. I'm in Northern VA in the foothills of Blue Ridge. I'm considering a DISH 1000.2 but don't know what advantage it provides over the 1000 Plus. DISHNet doesn't seem to have anything on the 118.7 bird so it appears both dishes gave the same access to relevant DISH birds at 110, 119, and 129. Do the 1000.2 LNBFs have a greater gain? What's the physical size of the 1000.2 dish? Do I not need the DPP44 to operate my two ViP622? If not, how do I connect the two inputs to each of the two ViP622 receivers? The forum's advice is appreciated. Regards all, Carson |

They have some international and some hi-def locals on this 118.8 sat:
DISH Network on Anik F3 & EchoStar 7 at 119.0°W - LyngSat Transponders 1 (11715) through 25 (12081). They are some low frequency tp's and probably require some special LNBf, which Dish is providing with {EDIT}Dish 1000 Plus{/EDIT}. I think, much more info should be available on dbstalk.
