Glad to hear you are back in business.![]()
System is a Platinum NA receiver and all sats are set with USALS. System was working fine until a storm came through and now will move east no problem but will not move west beyond 0. There was a power outage. The Platinum does not have a limit setting when using USALS and I have checked all sats near 0 (87) to verify they are not set with DiSEqC 1.2.
Can not find a reset button on the motor and have powered down the receiver complete with an unplug for 5 minutes. Any ideas? I am about to try a factory reset on the receiver.
Steve
Forget it. I went in and set a sat with 1.2 and then saved a disabled limit. Limit was listed as disabled but I changed it to an east limit then back to disabled and then saved. Motor now moves both directions.

my stab 100 did the same thing during a heavy rain Steve it dried out the next day and have worked fine since so maybe some water got in the motor and got it confused.![]()

Well an update. Hit a spot where the motor would not stop moving. Then would not move either direction. This included at the motor. So I thought maybe the motor had lost it's ground. Cut the coax & spliced in a ground block with no luck. Then started tracking the the coax. Thought maybe the receiver took the hit in the storm. Had power out of the receiver and no idea where it was but somewhere I have a break in the current flow.
All is back together and operational at this point. I think the satellite gremlins wanted me to drive to Guthri, KY to drive me crazy for a few hours before deciding to move on to someone elses houseI think Bill sent them my way.
On a more serious not everything seems low in signal readings though compared to previous. Have worked with alignment with no luck so perhaps I am losing something in the system. DiSEqC switch or perhaps lnbf maybe coax. Have a sinking feeling the power outage has partially damaged something in the system.
Need to get back to Indiana today so do not have time to dig any deeper. Will just wait to see what gives out.
