Motor isnt moving

Hi,
I have a sm3d12 motor hooked up to a 90cm dish and a fortec lifetime ultra receiver. I have properly aligned my dish and tested the motor. When I use my receiver to turn to a specific satellite, it doesnt move. The connecting line, which is close to a 100ft from the receiver to the motor is probably the problem.

What can I do to address this distance issue as I believe there is not enough power to the motor to turn the dish?? different cable, amplifier???

thanks Jake :mozilla_cry:

The length of the cable isn't excessive, it should work fine. Maybe its the connectors on the cable? Are you able to check it for continuity? How did you test the motor? Can you give a few more details so people can help you? Are you using USALS or diseqc1.2? If USALS did you enter your longitude/latitude?
