SM3D12 and Satcruiser 101 -- how to set up DiSEqc 1.2 ?

I have a Satcruiser 101 Plus receiver and SM3D12 HH dish mount.
I can navigate between satellites using manual controls on the hh mount. Naturally, I would also like to make the DiSEqC 1.2 work but the Satcruiser manual gives no practical information on how to do this.
Especially puzzling is the setting East/West limits in the DiSEqC menu -- when, say, the Set East limit is selected, what does this mean? Shall the user manually move the dish or will the dish move by itself to some predetermined position, or maybe the current position becomes the limit?

I would appreciate if somebody can share with me the experience of enabling DiSEqC 1.2 on Satcruiser.

DiseqC setting is used to switch between antennas when more than one dish is connected to the receiver.

The positioner setting is used to set the positioner. To set east limit you move the dish to the east until you reach a point where the dish would not move anymore or when it will hit something. Same is the west limit.

Very difficult to setup a motor with a Satcruiser 101 receiver. That model receiver has a weird menu and it becomes frustrating to try to setup the motor. Do a search about this in this forum. We have discussed this topic about 2-3 years ago.
