SM3D12 E-W limits

I have an SM3D12 motor purchased from Sadoun and 90cm dish which basically work ok.

My question is, is there ANY way to extend the E-W limits of this motor? It will move only about 45 deg to the E and W (90 deg total), which is quite a bit less than every other motor I've seen. +/- 70 deg seems common (140 deg total). I'm disappointed in this limitation of the SM3D12.

I have almost a full H-H view of the southern sky, and would really like to try pulling in some of the extreme E and W sats. Any suggestions besides buying another motor or setting up another dish? Guess I may need to try and sell this motor. #-o
