sm3d12 and fortec 120cm dish install question

I have this combination but every install picture I see with a HH motor shows the motor shaft pointing up...the install for the sm3d12 shows it pointing down does this matter...

you cant use that motor for a 120cm dish, you need a hh120, that dish is too heavy for the SM3D12 to move.

Motor's specs and even Sadoun's description says it can handle up to 120cm dish.

dodo39. It does matter which way the shaft is pointing and it should be pointing down like in the manual and on the picture.

Like vj9999 said, the motor is capable of handling a 120cm dish fine. (Read the specs for the weight limits allowed). If your 120Cm dish is too heavy, then I don't recommend it.

The shaft should be pointing down on this motor. Otherwise, you will damage the bearing surface and gears in the motor if you install it pointing up.

thanks as thats why I bought it ...
the fortec 120cm dish is a bit heavy but the motor manual says 12kg at rotating the dish around the centre of gravity point..so I was assuming this does not mean the full weight of the dish which is..net weight of 17kg..
hope this is the correct way of thinking!
