I was just wondering if Sadoun's was thinking of selling the new cku lnbf BSC621 avaiable in may this would be a nice addition to your prime focus dishes.

what are the general specs on it..?

The other forum link before loaded tooooo slow for me (and I signed up there a long time ago so I can actually see it) but I dont post or read there for this reason.

The C and Ku specs would be great guys

and what type is it, self-contained or does it attach to a feedhorn?

as to what i hear it's going to be 17 degrees c band and .5 db standard ku band.

they have changed the release date to some time in june.

Not sure if anyone ever found the specs on the BSC621-2 C/Ku LNBF, but what I found on it is:
Input 3.4~4.2 GHz
Output 950~1750 MHz
LO 5150 MHz
Gain 65 dB
Input 10.7~12.75 GHz
Output 950~1950 MHz Low band 1100~2150 MHz High band
LO 9.75 GHz Low band 10.6 GHz High band
Noise0.3 dB

but they also say "We do not recomend this model for use with a Motorola 4DTV or any other cband receiver".
So what the heck is it to be used for, other than DVB (FTA) reception? The picture they show of it looks like it will mount to my BUD.
I'm kind of new at all this 4dtv and DVB stuff, so forgive the stupid questions.

I take it that the Diseqc switch is the reason it's not recommended, but can't that part not be used?
Perhaps the GeoSatPro GSL1C/Ku LNBF Pro would be a better choice?

I preordered mine (from one of the moderators from the other forum where Sadoun is a sponsor

). It should ship sometimes this week. I am out on a business trip until Friday so I don't mind the wait.

I believe that the switch is there only for the convenience. It does not have to be used and it can be bypassed.

Then it should work find on my 10' Mesh? I have a 4DTV on it's way and I REALLY want to go c & ku with it.
Excellent! Now, if my mesh has small enough holes that the Ku will actually work, I'll be in great shape. Digital c\ku BUD system for around $250.00!!

they are also making a c ku lnbf that will work with 4 dtv receiver no diseqc switch will check the model number and get back to you.

ok I check and found the modle number it is GeoSat pro GSL1C/KU lnbf pro. hopes this helps states it will work with 4dtv and analog c ku receivers.

Thanks, Rainman. I had run across that one also. And the one place I have seen it (No, I haven't spent a lot of time looking for them) the Geosat is a little cheaper.
