IA5 only forum?

Just an idea, but what if there was a forum only for IA5 changes? The Blind Search foum is the current repository of new IA5 info, but i worry that people looking for wild feeds have stopped checking because the only new updates are about IA5. Similarly, those with wildfeed info may be reluctant to post because it's assumed the Blind Search forum is only for IA5 enthusiasts.

Actually if you have a wildfeed update, post it there. IA5 has more FTA channels than any other satellite. That is why it is popular.

I agree with first poster. I don't care about all the foreign stations on T5K so I skip over it often. I too think it should have a seperate section.

Ok, I see your point. So you are suggesting to create a new forum just for IA5 and leave the Blind Search Club forum for feeds, backhauls, and new finds?

Should the new IA5 forum be public or closed to members only?

i think you could leave it in the TV Channels section, and called IA5 Updates or something. This gives the IA5 enthusiasts broader subject coverage too. For example, there could be threads within it about the different IA5 programmers, languages, etc.

I think it could be public. The feeds that need more discretion typically aren't found on IA5.

I agree too. We can leave the thread in Blind search for channels that are usually scrambled, but temporarily FTA or for new channels that are not on lyngsat yet.

1- Create a new Forum for IA5 and make it public
2- Create a new Forum for IA5 and make it Members Only
3- Leave it the way it is
