Today a blizzard warning remains in effect for much of the Columbus, OHIO area.

We didn't open today due to weather conditions.

Sounds like my wife would love it there Jamal. We live in Garrett County MD and we haven't gotten hardly any of the snow this year as we had in previous years and my wife isn't happy about it. (She loves the snow).

In the blizzard of 2003 we had 5 feet of snow not counting the drifts. I don't blame you for not wanting to open on a day where you probably wouldn't have many customers anyway.

we are at 14" so far. And it's still coming down.
What they get in OH we get a few hours later.
(I'm just south of Kat... )

Luckily we didn't get the 40mph winds they were forcasting.

Actually this sucks... took me over an hour to get home and then I couldn't get into the driveway -- 4X4 or not. Brutal storm, this one. Think I'll take a little trip down to Kentucky and visit rainman. Kick back and enjoy some of his White Lightning...

The storm has passed after dumping a total of 20" the last 2 days. I am ready to come down to KY also to visit Rainman

We had Level 2 snow emergency all day. It was a good excuse to stay home and catch up on some family fun. I played UNO with my teenage kids.

Sunday I think we will be building a snowman outside and have some fun playing with the snow.

Yup.

I awoke this morning to noise of (big) truck noise, backup beeper etc.

Look out the front window, the guy across the street works for the city - as plow driver. Here is is with a city truck, stuck in his driveway. Guess he thought he'd be cute and drive up and then try to drag the snow back out with the big plow blade. He got stuck. It's 5am (well 4am with time change) and I'm not going out there to help. After 10 mins he did get it rocked out.
I'm sure he couldn't call for help, they'd chew him a new one for using city eqiuipment for personal use..

Looks like we got another 10 overnight. So thats 24 so far. There's a lot of snow on my roof.

Yeah it's been a while since we had snow like this (feet at a time). Years ago it'd be common occurance.
Seems like recently, maybe couple times a year we get a few inchs now and again.

Yeah this is the Big One -- snow wise. Got a good 3 feet (oops, sorry -- 0.978896 meters ) on my back deck. Almost level with the BBQ. Amazing. Last night there was a tow truck trying to pull a car out of a driveway on my street. He got out to the street then the tow truck got stuck too. So I guess now you need a bigger tow truck to pull the smaller tow truck to pull the car. LOL.

Hi snow fans

Where I live in Michigan we dodged the bullet the last couple of times but we did get a record snow fall this year of over 100". Monday morning the wife and I are going to Naples Fl to visit with my brother and check out his big dish. I'll bring back some oranges for ya.
Oh ya big bro. has a pool too.
Jim
