    need help with setup

I received my Mkit-2 Bundled System and put things together to a point. My problem is how the heck do I fasten the antenna to the DG-380? The DG-380 has a 2 inch plus shaft and the mounting bracket on the back of the dish that came with the kit is much smaller, I think 1 5/8 inches or so. I thought getting the kit everything would assemble without any hassles but its not going together for me. Am I doing something wrong or did I accidentally get sent a wrong part?

yeah you will evidently need more parts.

If the dish doesn't have "U bolts" and it's the tube mount type, you'll need to switch the motor tube for the one shown below.

The motor you bought is made to accomodate 4 foot dishes, therefore it comes with the larger tube by default.

If you bought this as a kit and it didn't tell you that this part was needed, Sadoun needs to flag orders so that this part needs to be there by default.

42mm Replacement Tube for PowerTech DG240, DG280, DG280B, DG380 Motors:Use this tube if you are going to use a small dish under 95cm.

    $13

Edit: I'm surprised you got a 380. On Ebay their "Mkit2" shows 280 type motor... Maybe that's the mistake.

I called Sadoun this morning and they are sending out the 42mm tube. All I had to do was call and the young lady answering helped me right out.
