DG-280 with two recievers/IF loop/motor control?

Here's one I'm curious about: if I have two recievers and use the IF Loop through on one, what happens to the motor control? I have a Merc II and another reciever which will remain anonymous; if they are connected in series like that, does the motor control pass through the first reciever? Or is it blocked, so only the DiSeq control is coming from the first one and motor commands from the second one in line are ignored? Each reciever has its strong points and it would be nice to use them both, and I'm not up to running another RG-6 cable over the roof and through the window frame, etc.

TIA
CN
