DG380 parts compatability

Can I take the shaft from my now defunct sg2100 (1 5/8" diameter) and use it on the dg380? I then would not have to order the optional shaft and take the supplied 2" shaft for future applications!

I solved my own problem ... I've ordered the DG280B which ships with the 42mm shaft already installed and is not the $13 extra cost item as with the dg380! Seems to me that Sadoun missed out on $20 of my money just because I didn't want to spend the extra $13 to enable the 380's use with a dish they sold me 2 yrs ago! Go figure!
