I could be wrong.. (so someone can correct me then) - but didn't that Alaskan mux on w7 got scrambled RIGHT after Alaskan locals went to subscriber tier on Dish Network platform and became available (to subscribers)?

Can't recall though now anyhow when it happened exactly..

actually it happen right after someone got on a open forum and brag about getting out of market NFL football games. and then they were forced by the local stations to scramble.if i remember right.

Ya.. could be any reason though...

Of course something like that would trigger them to scramble .. but never know - could be that.. could be some other reason..

We ll never know though.. - all we can do is guess and discuss it - and we are doing it, lol..

The main thing we have to remember though.. - it's FTA game .. and provider is in charge.. and whatever is UP today, CAN go DOWN any day (any minute actually) .. if the provider choses to do so.. or has a valid reason to do so..

But on the other hand.. - It's ONLY logical:

less talk = less people know about it .. and there are "less waves" and attention around it

Too bad more FTA channels dont use the "regular OTA free TV" model.. where they just get advertisers to pay for part of the cost to beam up the FTA channel, so they get subsidized... I have no problem with watching some commercials to get free FTA channels, just like I do watching free OTA channels.

Strange. That makes at least 2 people who haven't been able to join. I wonder if it's one of those ISP problems, where email is blocked between you and Sadoun or something.

What? Those days are long gone. With so many people opting in to nonsense items (HOA's = legalized, consentual socialism) there are no commercial free channels anymore. Every FTA channel I have seen has commercials already. It is there as a demostration of ability to provide quality content in hopes a sat or cable provider will pick them up.
