Given that I seem to be "hooked" on monitoring the goings on in the Middle East, the best method of doing so is to use the FTA channels that are available with the products at Sadoun. The scanning ability is ideal for the signals that seem to pop-up continuously.

Thanks for providing this forum. It's a rich source of information for accessing the sats.

I bought a Viewsat Platinum for fta and found out the the blind scan (smartscan) is software and not hardware It would be nice to have a true blindscan box

Got me a computer version of a motorized system just the other day so I could get me some TV. Shore would like to win this here reciever bein' I couldn't afford them big recievers... I had to get a new heater fer my truck...

I am interested in winning your New Fortec Mercury II Free to Air receiver. I just received a new dish and motor but it appears I will not be able to drive it with my twinhan card. The new receiver would eliminate that problem!
