what size of dish are you using. as the smaller dishes have been having problems with this sat lately.![]()
Hi All
I live in New York and I have had the Satellite working fine, tuned to IA5/Galaxy 25 for over 2 years. But recently I have noticed that at night, the following channels "IRINN, Cyrus, IRIB, Appadana" won't work and the picture is quite choppy.
One thing that I have noticed is that all these channels are running off the same frequency (11836, V, 20770, 3/4). That is so strange!!!!
Has anyone else experienced this? I have checked everything, cable, tight dish, tight connections, reset satellite receiver...
Any ideas? I appreciated your help. Thank you

Looks like a 30".
Is there anywhere I can read up on this issue? Any suggestions?
30 inch is minimum recommended..
36 or 40 inch, i bet, would give you WAY better performance.. and stronger signal..
I have both - so i should know ... - i am at different location, in Winnipeg Canada actually.. - but that's correct ..at night some TPs at 97 west ku are weaker than in the morning.. - on my 30 inch anyhow..
on my 40 inch .. not even a blink.. streanth on my machine is the same in the evening as in the morning for ALL the tps there.. - at maximum .. which is 98 for this particular receiver
...
so ya.. either that - 30 inch (minimum recommended) vs. larger dish solution....
or.. your dish maybe "moved" somewhat..and needs to be adjusted / fine-tuned to get the maximum possible signal .. etc..
Good luck
