Iranian Satellite

I have directv. I cannot install the satellites on my roof, I must install them in my patio. I have directv and it works fine, does the iranian programming satellite point in the same direction as the directv?


If they dont then I dont think I will be able to install it because there are trees

My second question which kind of satellite is the best for football? If I get a stationary satellite do I get all the Iranian stations? or is it best to get motorized satellite?

The Iran channel that I know of is at 97W. Where is your DirectTV pointed to?

Football?? Do you mean American football or soccer or rugby?? A motorized unit will give you more options.

If the direct dish has a single lnb then it should be pointed to 101 which is very closed to 97 for Iranian satellite so you can do it. If direct dish is pointed to 110 or 119 then it may not be easy to get signal on the Iranian dish.
