I am only interested in TV and I am using a model BSC621-2 C/KU LNBF. This model has one coax and a DISEqC switch built into the LNBF.

I'm guessing that, by now, you already have an answer to your first question.
First, go to the menu, arrow down once, OK.
Select Edit Channels, press OK.
Now, hit FAV (right next to INFO).
Scroll through the channels you have and press OK to view it in the background.
Hitting OK a second time will add it to the selected FAV list, and a third time will remove it from the FAV list.
When your done adding channels to any or all of the 8 different FAV lists, BACK out of the menus, or EXIT.
NOW, when you press FAV you will see a menu with 8 choices, select one and hit OK.
