Angry Captive Works 600S premium, no signal!

Help... wonder if there are any CW users here... anyways...

I just got this box.. hooked it up using my LNB line that works with my Classic NA.

Went into Antenna set-up and got no Signal or Quality bars for any TPs for several different sats.

I did the AUTO scan and the signal bars didnt change.

Then I did a BLIND SCAN and it periodically got a good , like 80% green strength, but 47% red quality bar... thru out the scan... it would get signal, then not, etc... after it was done, it picked up no channels.

Does the quality bar need to have green bars (balls actually) or is it always red....

Is there some other setting that I am missing with this receiver?? It's almost like it's not outputting any voltage (13/18v) to the LNB connector... and I could NOT find this screen menu setting to output voltage in this receiver, unlike in the Classic NA menu, there is a setting to put out 13 or 18v or no volts?

If this is the case, can I look the LNB into my Classic and use the Loop Out connector of the Classic to go into my CW600 LNB input ? Is that what this Loop Out is for??

So frustrating... can the CW be bad??? it's new fresh out of the box with nice sealed wrappings, etc....

I assume you have the settings correct (LNB LO correct, LNB power on, etc)

blind scan is useless in the CW600 (I have one and blind scan doesn't work)

There's an LNB Freq setting, and I set to to UNIV (for linear Pol) and 11250 for circular Pol sats... there's no LNB Power On setting... is that somewhere in the menu that I missed???

I tried to match that with my Fortec Classic..but nothing.. arg!

Can this receiver be defective at the LNB port?? and the menu system still works? it just seems like it doesnt output voltage to that LNB port... the LNB IN PORT is the upper left of the receiver, looking from behind, right?

Well, you wont believe this.. but after "fiddling" with this receiver for a while, I left it at trying to auto scan on a sat when there was no signal, turned the TV off and did some other stuff for about 1/2 hour, then turned TV back on and it came back to the antenna set-up screen and it showed I have signal and quality!!! I cant believe this!!!

Then I was able to do a scan again and picked up the channels I expected!!

Quite weird... I still dont see where there's a menu option to turn on and off the 13/18v to LNB.. hmmm.. oh , well...

and I was just about ready to give up and send this back to the dealer!! phew... saved me some aggravation to returning it.

The INvacom quad is a standatd LNB with LO of 10750 (the DBS is correct at 11250)

It's the old Fortec FSKu Universal LNB 0.4 DB that I bought with my Fortec Classic system a few months back...

Again, the question is... is there a menu system in the CW 600S Premium (not standard) that has the LNB Power 13/18v/off that the Classic has... I dont see it anywhere to control power to LNB or not... unless this model always outputs power... weird.
