You will need a Common Interface (CI) module. You can order one here: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Products/BEC/BEC-DB-6600+.htm
(Update 1/11/03 - CI Modules alone are no longer available from the manufacturer)

After you install the CI module, you will need to upgrade your software so that your receiver will recognize the new module.

Hello,

I actually can receive DISH network encrypted signals with my receiver but...

Once the CI module is installed, and the software is upgraded, would I be able to subscribe to Dish Network ??

Usual and legally subscribed receivers need the box number in order to work with the appropriate CAM... is this the same with the BEC6600 ??

Is this a farfetched dream or it can be a reality ?

Thanks.
