BEC DB6600CI is DISEQC 1.2 supported?

Hi all,

I'm living in Europe - Ireland.
A few months ago I purchased a secondhand BEC DB6600CI receiver. I've gotten hold of the user manual for the DB6600CI, but the menus look the same apart from the installation menu which is slightly different. Not sure if the reason is that the software is an older version - on my receiver info screen it says 6.00, on the manual I saw it is 1.07. The H/W version is the same on my receiver info and on the manual, ie 72-01-D6K6D-111. From what I can gather the receiver I have supports Diseqc 1.0, but doesn't appear to support version 1.2.

If I install the latest software will diseqc 1.2 be supported or do I need a hardware upgrade for this?
