I just got FTA Ku band satellite system, Ariza TP1000 receiver, 90cm dish, motor, and installation kit. And I having a major problem finding a Telstar5. I get a signal level of 75% and 0% quality, but this two number does not change at all even though I move the dish by 40 deg. in az or el.
Is this normal? Do I have a defective receiver?
I think U should ge a signal of at least 78% in this case I think U have to check using <a href http://sadoun.com/Sat/Products/Acces...ite-Finder.htm >Satellite finder</a>.
It seems that U should get that .
Also do not 4get to check the Exact Azimuth , elevation and Skew according to Ur Geographical Location.
