PanSat 2700a reciever is dead

I bought a new pansat 2700a reciever from ebay to recieve FTA channels from Telestar 5.
It connected the cable and the reciever powered up and I could recieve more than 100 channels.
However, The next day the receiver was dead. No LCD light and it did not power up.

Does anybody know what the problem is? I really appreciate the help.

have you tried rebooting? if not unplugged receiver for a while and then try it.

You might have a short in the cable. Remove all cables connected to receiver and power up. If it does power up, then check cables.
