REX-1 FTA receiver

I picked this up at a yard sale hoping I could hook it up to my dish/motor set up and experiment with FTA channels. However, when I turn on the box I get 88:88 in the dislpay window and thats all she wrote. Is this box junk or can it be salvaged? Does anyone know or know where I could ask and get help getting this up and running again?
