BEC 1000 Cable for PC

Does anybody know if it is a straight through or NULL cable that is used to tie a BEC1000 to a computer?

I am on my way to the Coship site to see what they have to say about the Irdeto

Also are channel lists the same format? So if I took a channel list from a blind search from the Fortec down into the computer could I put it into the BEC and have it operate?

TIA
Steve

I cannot answer the first question... but I will offer this:

A channel list is a channel list.

You should be able to import the Fortec *.cdf file into Channel Master, do whatever re-arranging, renaming, etc... then export it (or perhaps directly talk to the BEC?) in a format that the Coship accepts.

Unfortunately, Channel Master doesn't directly talk to the Lifetime Classic NA, even if you have the correct (in this case, null modem) cable. Apparently, it's just enough different from the Ultra that it doesn't work.

...perhaps, in time, there'll be direct support in Channel Master for the Classic NA, then you won't have to up/download with the Fortec software and arrange/manage with the Channel Master software.

Thanks for the info. With the BEC receivers being a dead duck finding info is getting tough. Wasn't easy before Coship had nothing other than refer to the manual that I could find for my Coship receiver. So I guess I read a bit tonight when I get home
