Latest BEC DBS 2000 firmware??

does anyone know where can i download the latest firmware and PcLink software for the BEC DBS 2000 receiver? i got this receiver for $8 and a dish for free.

As I understand it BEC no longer manufactures receivers. You most likely have the most recent version of firmware installed on the box as you are going to get. I did check the DMS site and found no mention of anything related to the BEC receivers.

This is the US distributor of BEC receivers when they were making them. A note on the 2000: there are 2 of them and the software is NOT interchangable. You have either a 2000 or a 2000+. If you make the mistake your receiver will be rendered useless. Might be anyway once you start playing with software alterations in a working receiver.

I have a BEC receiver and like it quite well for what I paid for it. It sits upstairs in an unused bedroom at the moment

seems like the firmware is no longer available for this model. thanks anyway steve. i still haven't installed the dish yet. need some more parts.
