HI

Is this the 101 ACE model? This is an older model (about 3 years old) and discontinued. We haven't sold that model and we are not familiar with its menu.

If it is the 101P Ace, that is different.

If you are getting a strong signal and quality using the BIRDOG, then check:
1- The LNBF settings in your receiver
2- The transponder settings
3- Connections and cables.
4- LNBF power should be ON

Hi radio11:

I am familiar with both models and have manuals for them. Let us know what model you have and I will help you out.

I have the same model. not a 101, just "Satcruiser DSR-Ace".
This is a basic receiver, but not bad for entry level as it was my first receiver and slaved to my 4dtv. I never did find any firmware upgrades for it.
