Problem with Coship CDVB2300B

Greetings,
After 5 mnths disconnected I've reconnected my dish, to my Coship CDVB2300B. I get a good signal and CCTV comes in nicely for about 58 seconds. Then the reciever stops sending a signal to the TV and I get regular TV. I though maybe just CCTV, but other channels as well. If I power it off and back on all is well. If I have it on a channel with no signal all is well. I have, at someone elses suggestion, replaced the LNB and get the same behavior. I'm wondering:
1. Has anyone any suggestion what I can do to fix it?
2. This receiver boost "Fast and Easy software upgrade" But I cannot find the software does anyone know where I could find it (not on coship's website that I could see).
Thanks

this sounds more like a problem with your tv. how are you hooked up to it? channel 3 or 4? or with A/V (RCA) type connectors?

It's connect via coax (the only way I can connect it with this old set), but I've had the same problem when connecting to a new set as well. Because two TVs have behaved the same way I gotta believe that it's not the TV.

Will it switch back using the TV/SAT button on the remote? Do not remember if Coship has this feature as mine is at home and I am at work I have had problems in the past mainly with UHF remotes and grabbing signal from something out in the air that just happens to do strange things.

I used to live near RR tracks and everytime a train would pass through my sat changed channels. I finally figured out it was their radio equipment. Might try a new remote. I have several units that are infrared remote and notice sometimes one remote will trip another unit. My surround sound is good for that. It seems to like any infrared signal it sees :mozilla_laughing:

Just a thought

Steve
