Auto SR function.

All the satcruiser models had the auto SR function.
So I bought the latest model of the high end receiver, the DSR 2040 ACE, thinking of getting the best of the satcruiser receivers.
It seems they disabled this function in the lastest models of the 2040.
Conclusion is: they upgraded to an allmost useless SR from 31 to 45 Ms/s (see previous SR forum) and at the same time they disabled the very useful auto SR function.
I am very upset with this. :evil:
So here is my question: is it possible to degrade to a lower software level and make the auto SR work again with 31 Ms/s?
And can you place this software on your site?
Or wil the auto SR reinstalled in new software releases?

I am disappointed as much as you are with that. However, I can't confirm whether you can do the software downgrade and haven't tried it. Satcruiser software is delecate and I don't want to risk an expensive receiver on an experiment.

In Europe most satellites have NIT information. Try doing network search instead of a regular channel search and see if you get the transponder data updated automatically.
