Connecting your dish to a DSR-2040 ACE (401P)

By BILL DAVIS

----
I just got a Satcruiser 401P and there are 4 dish related connections on
the back. They are
Ana A
Ana B
Digital
Out

What are the different connections for?

Now this receiver came with a coax jumper cable, but no instructions as to
what the jumper is for.

The instructions mention connection of a "digital" dish to the digital
connection and an "analog" dish to the Ana A connection. So what is Ana B
for, what is a digital/analog dish, what is jumper for, what is out
connection for?

-------------------

In answer to my own question...

The Satcruiser DSR 2040 Ace (401P) is both an analog and digital receiver.

Connecting to the Ana A or Analog A connection will feed it signals to the
analog portion of the receiver only.

Connecting to the Digital connection will feed it signals to the digital
portion of the receiver only.

Connecting to the Digital connection, then using the jumper from Out
(digital out) to Ana A (Analog A), will provide the digital and analog
portions of the receiver with signals.

The Ana B (Analog B) connection is for yet another satellite connection if
desired.

So you can have 3 different LNBs on 3 different dishes going to Digital,
Ana A, and Ana B.

Thank you Bill for this information. You make a great "Manual Editor" for the Satcruiser line...
