natsat receiver

I was just giving a Natsat 1000A digital, i would like to know if there is any soft i nedd to download for this receiver and also do am i able to get Rtpi with this receiver on AMC 4 sattelite, thank-you.

What wrong with the receiver? Firmware upgraded is not needed if it works fine. If it's FTA DVB receiver, you should not have any to use it to pick up RTPi on AMC4 (assuming you have right hardware: Dish, lnbf).

It was hooked up to a big dish antenna, i hooked it to a telstar5 sattelite and i didn't receive any channels, but i didn't not have the remote control to adjust anything, how big antenna i need for amc-4 from east coast Boston, thank-you for any inf.

For Ku dish, a 90cm dish will pick it up fine. For C-band, make sure your dishcan pick up Ku. Some old Cband dishes don't pick up Ku signal well.
If you slave it to your analog/4DTV, you need to make sure you set the band and polarity correctly. You will also need to specify the LOF of the DVB receiver, Ku should be 10750. If it can't be changed manually, then you will have to find a remote to operate the DVB receiver.
