Blind Search For Pansat 2300?

The Pansat 2300 & the 2500 seem to be very similar circuit wise. So it seems as if it might be possible to some how use 2500 know how & software to convert the 2300 so it can do "blind search".

Is anyone aware of this being done? Or if might be/is feasible?

Software won't do anything good if the hardware does not support the feature.

Is it known that the 2300's hardware can't support blind search software? I'm not trying to be "wise guy" just wondering.

Can't speak for Pasat, but Fortec confirmed that the FS Lifetime hardware does not support blindsearch. PS2300 and FS Lifetime are pretty indentical, so my assumption is Pansat 2300 hardware can't do the blindsearch.

Rck, no the 2500 software won't work on the 2300.
