Prosat P-3500V receiver

I have a pre-owned Prosat p-3500V receiver, I seemed like missing a lots of programmed sat., previous owner may deleted few sats.

How do I re-programe and add sats. to the list for satellite selection.
I don't have owner's manual handy.

Appreciated if anyone could help.

I'm not familiar with that receiver but generally all FTA receivers allow you to add or edit satellites manually. Look on the menu screen for something like "Edit Satellite" or "Add Satellite"; then just monkey around until you figure it out. From what I've seen of most manuals for any receiver -- you're better off without them... :roll:

My box menu only has "Satellite Selection and Satellite Deletion", selection is for select exsisting satellites only.

I can only ADD, EDIT, DELETE Transponders.

Well, looks like another box belongs to the trash can.

No !!! Put the lid on the trashcan !!! :shock: You may still be able to "fool" the receiver into thinking that the satellite you want, but is not in the list, is available. By editing the transponder data of one of the preprogrammed birds you can still pull in your desired bird. For example, if you add 12,152 MHz, HOR, and 20,000 symbol rate (one of the transponders on IA5) to the transponder list on the receiver's satellite; then point your dish to IA5, the receiver will pull in channels from that transponder on IA5.
