Is it your first time with a dish setup? if so, pointing the dish correctly might take quite some time at first. Otherwise, I do not know whether it is a receiver problem. I had a Microyal 886 (the older model), worked fine for 1 year, then was dead all of a sudden (maybe overheated or something). I will probably not buy another Microyal..
Good luck.

What satellite are you pointing the dish at ? If Dish Network or Canadian Bell Express View , , radio is about all you are going to get .

Nothing at all on DTV .

Check out the chanel charts at :

http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/North-America.html

and

http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/South-America.html

If you speak Spanish you may find a lot of channels to choose from . But you may need a bigger dish than the 18" DTB dish I am going to try to start out with . Depending on which satellite & where you are located ? Some one please help me out on that .

I have been reading up on this stuff , but have not received my hardware , yet .

Good luck ,
Wyr

Well...

I try T5, SATMEX5, GALAXY3R, AMC3, ECOSTAR7 using a 30" parabolic antenna. I Think there is a pointing problem. When I connect de DVB equipment to the antenna that look at "directv para todos" (form Directv 119° W) I see in the diplay: radio channel and encripted video.
