st3688 lockup

I have a brand new st3688 and am in the process of setting it up. It has
locked up and will not respond to the remote. Is there a way to reset this
thing........fg

iis it the receiver itself or the mover? the mover usually has a reset button to default. you mnight try that. i saw it somewhere tin the "fine"manuel..

Thanks for the followup. The problem was resolved after two trips for repairs at my cost. So much for new merchandise. They wouldn't
replace the thing, they just kept having me send it back. I paid more for shipping than I paid for the box. I would never buy from them again.....fg

Mine does that quite a bit and what cures it for me is reset the rocker switch in the back.

Been using the satwork 3688 for over a year now and have the same problem once in a while usually when it gets confused over hd signal. just power the whole thing down and back on to resolve.

Hello Fgatski,Did you fine the reset?Well I am having a problem with mine.I am not getting a signal or quality reading. It will scan but i am getting no video.Thanks
