Microyal receivers: need opinion

Hi all .. great froum.
I got myself a microyal MRX-886. It was fine for 14 months. Then it died.
I learned Microyal has a new model MRX-900.
Any feedback on that? The reason I ask is that its price range is less than $100. Other receivers are much more.

(P.S. if you hate that receiver, please state why. How are others better. All I'm interested in is basic fta stuff)
Thanks for your help.

That's about 13 months longer than they usually last. Microyal are IMHO the worst pieces of crap on the market. They look and feel cheaply made and are to be avoided.

Bad receiver. Not sensitive to signals at all. Get yourself a Fortec Star 786 and enjoy the Korean quality.
