Receiver Upload

I need some help I am installing a 75cm dish with an HH100 motor and an Ariza TP1000. My long is 125 W and I have no problem locking onto G10R at 123 W. When I attempt to hook up to any other satellite the dish goes hard over to the East stop. I have tried everything I can think of and if I do a factory reset it fixes nothing. Also when I change TP'S on any satellite it moves wherever it feels like. Could it be a problem with my motor, I'm assuming that the motor only moves when it is told to. Anyway I'm thinking I could do a software upload I'm not really sure how or where to get it but am willing to try anything. If you do an upload does it erase what you presently have or just add/change it. I think it needs an initialization to straighten it out or maybe the garbage can. How much for a good receiver with USALs.

Don't do a software change !! :shock:

Try resetting the receiver to factory defaults - did you set the east and west limits yet? This must be done before you program in birds.

The factory settings on the motor are set electronically at +-65 deg and mechanically at +-70 deg. It says in the manual that if not necessary to change them because of obstructions then leave them as is. You say that you have to change them before you can store any info. I'll try and change them and see what happens. Also I need to figure out why the motor moves when I change from an H polarity TP to a V polarity TP within the same satellite, the motor is brand new.

I reset the receiver and set the limits and it fixed nothing. As soon as I change TP's within a satellite or save the settings the dish goes wherever it feels like. I was able to get 3 satellites locked and stored. The only way it will work is if I save the image and then unplug the cable from the LNB so that the dish doesn't move. WTF is going on the receiver and motor are new.
