Question Dumb Question - Need Cable

Hello All..
I need to find out how to plug my DELL Inspirion lapton into my CaptiveWorks CW 600S. The sat receiver has a serial port but the only outlet on the pc is a 15pin female. ( vga port? ) Is there a USB to serial cable. Am I overlooking the obvious?
thanks...

yes.

Radio shack sells one

you might be able to find similar one cheaper at computer store:

GigawareŽ 6-ft. USB-A to Serial Cable - RadioShack.com

but it gives you the idea of what the device is

Thumbs up Cable found

I found the USB to Serial Cable on the e online auction place... ...at a substantially lower price than I'd seen it elsewhere..
