DiSEqC 4 to 1 switch

Hi all
Is the Satcruiser DSR 2040 compatible
with the DiSEqC 2.0 version?
When I placed my order, a DiSEqC 4 to 1 switch V 2.0
was send to me along my Satcruiser DSR 2040
but I'm unable to make the DiSEqC 4 to 1 switch V 2.0
to work. (of course, I set up the software properly)
any Idea

How did you setup your Diseqc on your receiver?

How many dishes you have hooked up to the switch?

It's a normal set up
c band # 1
Ku #2
I have an extra dish Ku #3
Out to Digital In

Still the switch don't work.
the manual says the DSR 2040 ACE
support the DiSEqC 1.0??
Even my installer say it's not switching?
now why sell a DiSEqC 2.0 if it's not working?
Or if you have a set up with a DiSEqC 2.0
and it work for you please tell me what software version
are you using?

The switch is a DiSEqC 1.0 not 2.0 version.

DiSEqC 2.0 is a new standard for switches where the switch and receiver communicate with each other (2 way communication). DiSEqC 1.0 is a 1-way communication (receiver send a signal to the switch only).

Since you are only using 3 out of the 4 inputs, you might want to use a terminal plug on the unused # 4 input.

The DMS DiSEqC 4 to 1 switch has a 2.0
written on it.
I did use a terminal plug on the # 4
and It's still not switching, it's very puzzeling??
The "auto realign" is not working as well?
I know there is a newer software out there
Maybe it's software realted?
Please help

Here is my final word.
After so much wait,
I downloaded a more recent
software from www.Satcruiser.com
Yes this is to sad as Sadoun
don't provide software for upgrade.

And guess what It resolved all my problems.

Please before you sell your Satcuiser
load the most recent software on it
just to avoid problems like I have
Make other customers happy
