i'm about to buy the BEC DB 2000 system, but i don't know if i get to see the American channels such as: MTV, DISCOVER, MSNBC, ESPN, UPN, ETC... Does anybody know about this? Can I pull signals from DishNetwork or DirectTV?
No you cannot pull signals meant for DirecTV or DishNetwork with the exception of a few free channels on DishNet - nothing worthwhile. The BEC receiver and others like it are really meant for viewing alternate channels such as foreign languages and the occassional wildfeed. Its a hobby - not a replacement for paid DTH services.
