advise on Samsonic bs-7100

Right now i have a Samsonic bs-7100 fta receiver w/30" dish. What i would like to know is, If i purchased a HH motor will this work on this receiver. Or should i just buy a fortec receiver that everyone here like so much. Thanks

The the specs to see if it supports Diseqc 1.2. If not, you will need to buy a new receiver which is Diseqc 1.2 compatible to driver the h-h motor.

Since your receiver has DiSEqC 1.2, you should be all set. If you want USALS capability, buy a Fortec Star. The 786v3 model has great USALS performance.

Hi MikeCooler, I did a search and it seems your receiver is diseqc1.2 compatible so a motor should work ok. Check below:
