Dreambox7000s

Hi All,

I haven't seen Dreambox7000s being mentioned or discussed here yet, so
has anyone had any exposure to/experience with this receiver ?
and care to share pros & cons ?

The specs seem interesting.. and this receiver is gaining popularity in europe esp. in Germany.
Is it available here in USA yet ?

Thanks for the link, I wasn't sure links are allowed :wink:

as for the receiver... the only thing missing is HDTV,
but... new DreamBox with HDTV is in works... or so I heard.

Hi to everybody, i'm italian, i've the dreambox, incredible receiver, here nobody use the original firmware, inside to the not official firmware are present a lot of plugins to improve the performance of the receiver, a new firmware go out every day! following this link:

Whats the price of the receiver over there?

I didnt see that it does blind scan, is that correct?

Hi Klyde, here in italy the dreambox cost 300euro (350US$) without hard disk, when you want you can buy a normal IDE HD and put inside the receiver to transform the box in a pvr.

About Of the "blind scan function" exists a plugin called feedhunter but not still I experienced to use it, I bought a fortecstar lifetime ultra and I am very surprised of the "power of blind scan function", every feed (with every symbol rate) was found a lot swiftly!
