Angry Pansat 2700A trouble/DISEQC 1.2 motor HELP!!!!

I have a Pansat 2700A and a digipower sg21 HH motor. I have set true south and get a level of 75%. I cannot get the motor to move in the DISEQC 1.2 mode. I can move the motor with the remote and it will go to "0" with reference position. I am NEW AT THIS and I cant get it going. Thanks, stevems70

Try disabling your east and west limits in the receiver.

Thanks. I can now move the dish to a specified sat angel however I cannot get the quality signal bar to registure anything. The Level meter reads at 78%. This Pansat receiver has a Diseqc setting of choice #1,#2,#3 and#4. I dont know which one to select. This is other than the Diseqc 1.2 with USALS setting. I can get the dish to move in the USALS window when i hit move. It will not move in the Diseqc 1.2 mode.??

the #1 through 4 is for a diseqc switch if you are using one. in other
words you are using more than 1 lnb you would need a diseqc switch to select each lnb if you are only use 1 lnb then you won't have to worry about this setting. you will need to start at your true south sat ( closest to your longitude) to align your dish. set the motor to 0 then move the motor and dish to point to your true south on a compass then use USALS to move to your true south sat then adjust the mount east and west to you get quality lock then fine tune the elevation to get the best quality then you should be ready to try for another sat. remember to use a active transponder freq and sr freq when searching.

YEA!!! I got my true south sat. just fine!!! Lots of channels and the quatity is @ 98% WOW!! What a pic.!! My next question is..., Do I select the next sat and do the same process all over again? Including manualy moving the dish to zero in, OR do I not want to mess with the dish settings? Or, Should I be able to just put the info. into the required feilds and let my receiver do it by itself?? Thanks again, You have been a great help already and any more advise you can give me would be much appriciated. stevems70

move to another sat using usuals if you got a good setup on your true south sat all you should have to do is program in channels enjoy.
