Traxis 2500 receiver

To all,
Hi I am new to Fta receivers and I would like some help.
I do have a Traxis 2500 receiver and is loaded with satellites that you can see from the east side of USA.
I would like to be able to edit the satellites loaded simple because I am located west of the Rockies and many are not available to me.
I have tried to locate a web address for Traxis receivers to get help but I have not been lucky.

HELP!!
Thanks for any suggestions!!

Here is the manufactuer's website and your manual on how to reprogram your receiver.

Traxis 2500 receiver

Thanks for your reply.

Do you know if there is an "editing option" for this receiver?
What I mean,
to be able to change the names of satellites while you are in the main menu of "installing a satellite from the given list"?

Updating the receiver will not give me the ability to change the names of satellites at will.

Thanks

There probably is an editing option for satellite names. You will have to play around with it to figure it out. If not, try contacting the company directly from its website. It really does not matter what the satellite name is as long as it is pointed in the right direction.

Traxis 2500 receiver

I do understand that the name of the sat does not matter but is so much easier to know where you are especially when it is slaved to a 4dtv 922.

I'll try to update the receiver and see what happens.

I'll also try to send an email to the site that you send me.
Thanks again.
