I have had my DB-6600CI for a year or more. A while back I upgraded to version 10 software.

Today I decided to get the latest upgrade so I downloaded the lastest software and bin file (DMS-CI600.zip) and ran it.

It ran fine reported Good on the front panel, I cycled power and no video. The beclink connected and reported to new s/w version correctly. The remote could turn it on and off but nothing to the TV.

Soooo, I reloaded the version 10 bin file. All good. Video is back. Euronews is there.

Maybe there was a glitch the first time. Tried again, same results.

"Well", I said, "maybe I was supposed to use the DMS-CP-500 file for CI with a positioner. I don't have a positioner but there are servo connectors on the back panel." :idea:

I tried it. The end. Now, when it boots the front panel displays UCr and the beclink software cannot initiate communications. :shock:

Is it possible to get a set of ROMs that I can plug in or something?

This is the correct software.

Instructions clearly states "for CI receiver with positioner only"

I tried it. The end. Now, when it boots the front panel displays UCr and the beclink software cannot initiate communications. Is it possible to get a set of ROMs that I can plug in or something?

There is only 2 things at this point.
You can try to clone it from a working receiver.
If that doesn't work, you can send it to the factory service center (contact us privately for address) and they will try to use their programmer on it. There will be some costs involved.
