Prosat P-3500V

I have a Prosat 3500V receiver. Currently I have a DiSEqC switch connected with 2 separate LNBA's on 2 dishes. I have to change the channels many times before the receiver will switch between the LNB's. The Prosat manual states it has a 22kHz signal which can be programmed into the receiver and turned on and off by the user.

Question: would the Perfect Vision 22kHz multi-switch take the place of the DiSEqC switch without having to change back and forth several or even turn the receiver off and on to change LNB's.

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, the Perfect Vision 22kHz multi-switch will take the place of the DiSEqC switch. If one of your LNBF is a Universal LNBF, I wouldn't recommend a 22kHz switch.

Sadoun,

Thank you for the reply, I have one more question.

Both LNB'A's are standard Frequencies for DVB on KU band (11.7 - 12.2). Would using the 22K switch cause the same problem as the DiSEqC switch? (Previous post)

Bob

For Standard LNBFs, the 22Khz switch should work fine.

Hey Cocoa, I need your help on Prosat P-3500V

I have the same receiver without manual, got it from swap meet..

Do you have idea how to add satellites to your receiver?

Is it possible that you can send me the manual by PDF format through forum.

Should I keep it or dump it ! Need your opinion, appreciate your help.

Bob;
Did you resolve your problem? I have the Prosat pv3500 receiver with no manual and I don't know how to add the satellites to the receiver.
Thanks.
Dory
